Me & ADHD: A 16-Week Coaching and Therapy Programme for Adults with ADHD

Me & ADHD is a comprehensive 16-week coaching and therapy programme designed for individuals with a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of ADHD – specially those who’ve felt unseen, overwhelmed, or invalidated by traditional approaches.

Led by Emma, a Registered Psychotherapist, Nurse, and Coach with over 10 years of NHS experience in complex emotional needs, this is more than just ADHD coaching, it’s a personalised, trauma-informed therapeutic process tailored entirely to you.

This programme brings together the best of ADHD coaching and psychotherapy. It’s not one-size-fits-all. It’s shaped around your story, your needs, and your goals.

What You’ll Experience

Week-by-week, we’ll explore:

  • Your story so far – Understand your emotional history and what’s shaped your current patterns, ADHD impacts people in different ways so this is about painting a picture of you so we can help you in the here and now.
  • What’s not working – Dismantle outdated coping strategies that no longer serve you. A chance too to reflect upon why previous therapy or coaching hasnt worked so we can adapt the programme to you.
  • A new relationship with your ADHD – Develop self-acceptance, intuition, and emotional insight.
  • Trauma-informed therapy – Address the root causes behind chronic overwhelm, rumination, and burnout.
  • Tools for your toolbox – Tangible, actionable strategies for navigating emotional overwhelm, procrastination, black-and-white thinking, rejection sensitivity, relationship difficulties, building a life that feels aligned to your values and priorities that you love.
  • Mindfulness-based practices – Not meditation, but simple, powerful techniques to get in control of your thoughts, calm your mind and shift your thinking over time.
  • Emotional safety and continuity – Support even in moments of distress, including suicidal thoughts or self-harm, without needing to be referred elsewhere.

Why Choose This ADHD Coaching and Therapy Programme?

Most ADHD support focuses on quick fixes or dopamine hacks. This is different. We look at the full picture including your biology, your environment, your experiences and create a coherent plan for change that lasts.

Emma blends evidence-based coaching and therapy, drawing on:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Do you offer ADHD assessments?

We do not prescribe medication, but we can:

  • Carry out in-depth ADHD screenings

  • Connect you with a consultant psychiatrist who offers affordable private ADHD assessments and ongoing shared care agreements if needed. We work closely with a small team of highly experienced independent specialist ADHD consultant psychiatrists

Can I join if I have BPD / EUPD?

Yes—absolutely. All clinicians have extensive experience working with clients who have both ADHD and Borderline Personality Disorder / Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (BPD/EUPD). All clinicians also have specialist training in personality assessment (using SCID) to help differentiate or understand overlapping traits and misdiagnoses. It’s really common to be misdiagnosed with Bipolar and EUPD especially as a woman.

Am I in safe hands?

Yes! Emma is a Registered Psychotherapist, Nurse, and Coach with over a decade of NHS experience supporting complex emotional needs. Her team is highly trained set of HCPC and UKCP registered professionals, each with both clinical expertise and lived understanding of ADHD. You’ll receive high-quality, trauma-informed care that adapts to your needs, whether you’re navigating day-to-day challenges or moments of distress.

‘I was really nervous about seeing a therapist as I didn’t actually know what was ‘wrong’ but Emma really understood me and I felt at ease during the assessment. She’s not just a ‘how does that make you feel’ therapist which I find patronising, she’s practical and genuine.’
